Chosen Family goes full-on feminist! Dayna McLeod, Jena Friedman and Natalie Norman are the shiny stars of this episode.
Thomas gets on the phone with comedian Jena Friedman to talk about the feminism in comedy. Jena is an NY-based comedian, who has written for Jon Stewart and David Letterman.
Artist, performer, Concordia University professor; Dayna McLeod is all these things and more. Known for her subversive work which blends feminism, pop culture and, sometimes, leopard print, Chosen family welcomes her into the studio to talk about her prolific career. Dayna will be at Phenomena Festival Oct. 13 at 'Kiss My Cabaret'.
