Episode 12 of Chosen Family is here, and we think it’s an extra special one!

Spring feels like it’s right around the corner, and along with flowers and sunshine, it also means tax season! Thomas and Tranna use the opportunity to talk about one of the last taboos: money. The two share their conflicting and complicated relationships with money and manage to find the humour in an uneasy but important (and entertaining) topic. Where is Suze Orman when you need her?

Joining the family this week are Frannie Holder and Fab from the band Random Recipe. When a musical duo meets a comedy duo, the results are explosive fun and one of the best conversations ever had on Chosen Family. Random Recipe’s new album Distractions is out now and we could not recommend it more highly! (You can purchase it right here)

This week, one of Tranna’s dreams came true when she got to talk to pop superstar, Stacey Q! Stacey’s biggest hit, Two of Hearts, climbed to #3 on the Billboard Charts in 1986 and is still as infectious as ever!

We’ve also got a brilliant stand-up comedy performance by Adrienne Fish, who talks about our collective/toxic addiction to social media. Thank you to our friend, Chantel Marostica, for the audio. Chantel is recording an album in Toronto on March 31 and you should be there!

We hope you love this episode as much as we do, and don’t forget to buy your tickets to Tranna and Thomas’ upcoming show, Sainte Céline: A New, New Day! There are only a few tickets left!

Chosen Family is a podcast created by rising comedy stars Thomas Leblanc and Tranna Wintour featuring conversations with special guests, storytelling and cultural commentary that shines a light on the importance of friendship, resistance and community. Presented and produced by Phi.
