Every Friday afternoon, the team behind Music Is My Sanctuary is putting together a show featuring live performances, discussions and stories dedicated to the discovery and sharing of Forgotten Treasures & Future Classics.

The twelfth edition of your weekly guide to life-changing music is here. Every Friday afternoon MIMS radio team is broadcasting live video from the Phi Centre studio from 2 to 4 PM. The archived content is available at the beginning of the following week.

This week your hosts Lexis and The One Tash run down the best new releases and also welcome some serious talent in the studio. Featuring the world premiere, first performance from ILLA J’s newly formed Montreal-based four piece band called The Marshens (also featuring Fawna, L.E.K., Atamone). We also welcomed in the studio Andy Williams and DJ Luv aka the Jazz Amnesty Sound System for a DJ set and a brief conversation about their projects. To close the show a discussion with London’s K15 one of our favorite producers right now, he has a new EP called Speed of Life on the excellent Wild Oats label.

This session features:

  • A weekly roundup by the hosts of the best new releases (0:00)
  • A performance by The Marshens (32:00)
