From May 27 to 29, the third edition of C2MTL—an immersive event celebrating commerce and creativity—will be held at l’Arsenal, and for the third year in a row, the Phi Centre will be showcasing its creativity. Not once, not twice, but three times!

Over the course of the three-day event, the Phi Centre gives visitors the chance to experience a 3D installation of the film Cochemare by world-renowned filmmakers Chris Lavis and Maciek Szczerbowski (Madame Tutli-Putli, a Cannes winner in 2007).

On May 29, as part of Garage, the Phi Centre invites you to a talk with Cochemare filmmakers Chris Lavis and Maciek Szczerbowski, and producers Penny Mancuso and Phoebe Greenberg (Phi Centre President and founder, respectively). The talk will be about the technical and artistic challenges of making a film like Cochemare.

Three times.
As part of the closing night events with James Murphy (LCD Soundsystem)and guests, the Phi Centre will be revealing a video with exclusive, never-before-seen footage.

C2MTL is an immersive three-day event that appeals as much to the left half of your brain as it does to the right through a vast array of non-traditional experiences. World-renowned speakers, interactive exhibits, collaborative workshops and a collective experience all take place within a custom-designed Innovation Village built exclusively for the event by C2MTL.

C2MTL unites the cream of the international business crop and works to stimulate creative and even visionary thinking to commercial problems. This is encouraged through an immersive environment that fosters collaboration and the emergence of innovative business solutions. C2MTL was founded and Imagined by the Sid Lee creative agency in collaboration with Founding Partner Cirque du Soleil, Leadership Partner Microsoft, and Content and Media Partner Fast Company magazine.

Blending animation, live action, and stereoscopic 3D, Cochemare is an immersive, tactile, and sensory experience. As the viewer journeys from the mystical Forest of Storms to the orbiting International Space Station, the film forces us to confront our notions of voyeurism, femininity, and the separation of body and mind.

A film by Chris Lavis and Maciek Szczerbowski, produced by Penny Mancuso and Phoebe Greenberg.
