For the occasion, the Jane/Kin trio will showcase sexy-saxophone and future-electroacoustic music, the Blouin/Gourd duet will transcend texture, sound and matter, Line Katcho will perform explosive kaleidoscopic A/V, Maxime Corbeil-Perron will explore a multidimensional Old-School/New-School experience with his work Imaginary Optics, and finally, Karl Lemieux will join the collective to capture the essence of the Montreal drone and noise music scene.

Kohlenstoff is a Montreal-based artists collective and a label. It featuring composers who explored the uncharted territories of unusual music. To date the label has already issued 30 albums by a dozen composers, principally living in Montreal, but also in various other countries – England, Poland, Argentina, Israel and the United States. Undoubting that the digital format is currently the most likely one to increase the visibility of its artists, Kohlenstoff Records mainly distributes its albums in this medium.
