Busty and the Bass is a collective of young musicians whose electro/soul/hip hop formula blended with hints of funk comes off as irresistible. Arising from a jam session during their days at McGill University, the band members quickly made a name for themselves, going from private concerts to international main stages in a matter of months.

Known for its energetic and joyful performances, the group of nine musicians quickly won the public and the industry’s acknowledgement, thanks to their undeniable artistic qualities. Supporting both of their EPs – GLAM and Lift – Busty and the Bass toured across Canada and took the stage of many well-established festivals (Osheaga Music and Arts Festival, FEQ, Montreal International Jazz Festival, Vancouver International Jazz Festival, Canadian Music Week) in the following years. The Montreal band even went abroad for multiple tours in the United States and in Europe.

With all of the hype going on in the scene, the foundations were laid for the arrival of their first full-length project – Uncommon Good – in the Fall of 2017. The album was granted by the touch of renowned Grammy Award-winning producer Neal Pogue (Outkast, Snoop Dogg, Earth Wind and Fire, M.I.A., Nicki Minaj, Aretha Franklin, Lil Wayne… ).
