Eat My Shorts! is back! Kevin Hart’s Laugh Out Loud Network joins forces with the Just For Laughs Festival and the Phi Centre for an evening of the funniest new short films from across the US and Canada.

After hundreds of submissions, the five films curated by Laugh Out Loud, Just For Laughs, and online fans receive the big-screen treatment at the Festival, on July 26, at the Phi Centre.

Before the night is over, one winning filmmaker will receive exclusive distribution of their short film on Laugh Out Loud, as well as a first-look deal.

Plus, get an exclusive insider’s perspective on what’s trending with Heather Johns, Laugh Out Loud’s VP of Content and Business Development, as she reveals what they look for from their creative partners.

Laugh Out Loud is a comedy brand and multi-platform network founded by the world’s top comedian Kevin Hart, in partnership with Lionsgate. Through his network Hart delivers his vision for the future of comedy: social, mobile, multicultural and seriously funny. From stand-up legends to globally-recognized digital influencers, Hart and LOL curate comedy’s boldest voices to produce original scripted and unscripted series, stand-up specials, live broadcasts and special events.

Founded in 1983, the Just For Laughs Group concentrates on three major focal points: festivals, television production and stand-up specials. The Montreal Just For Laughs Festival, which celebrates its 36th edition in 2018, is the world’s largest and most prestigious comedy event, welcoming more than 2 million people each summer.
