The story begins under the sign of crisis in the french countryside where everything goes wrong: the price of meat collapses, milk is sold at a loss and breeders sometimes have no other recourse than the rope hanging from the barn’s beam. Georges Balbuzard, the mayor of Mêle sur Sarthe, is not the type to give up and is determined to save his village ... By chance, Blake Newman, a great conceptual photographer who undresses crowds, is stuck in a dam on the N12 highway. What would happen if he staged three hundred Normans naked on Champ Chollet?
